Anaheim International - The Best of the Best
The road to Anaheim…Part 4 - Day One at Convention.
The line for the buses to the Honda Center was long, and I thought that perhaps I would have time for a quick shower after check in. Fortunately, like most Hilton Hotels, the Valet parking and the check in process was a model of efficiency; although, my room seemed to be the farthest walk from an elevator I had ever made at a hotel!
Anaheim International 2009 - Arrival
The road to Anaheim…Part 3
The next morning was somewhat slow; I just puttered around sipping the ol’ Java and enjoying solitude. After all, it was only a little over a hundred miles to L.A.,
Anaheim International 2009 - Continued
The road to Anaheim… Part 2
Coming out of the mountains, down through the last turns, the road opens up to a flat and straight “shot” along the coast. Coastal farmlands, a gorgeous rocky coastline, and mountain ranges to the east, what “eye candy” has our creator given us!
Report on Anaheim - International Convention 2009
The road to Anaheim…Part 1
I began this earlier last week, but my thoughts got all "jumbled up" - so much to say!
2008 - It's going to be great!
Demaster called me yesterday, just to say hello, and wish my family a "Merry Christmas". What a nice guy! Actually, Demaster and I have spoken a lot during the last year, probably more than the first 5 years I knew him as a Chorus Member, Friend, and Director!
But, that's one of the great things about being part of an organization such as ours! Friendships grow, and we continually find out some really "neat" things about each other! We are fortunate to have Demaster's energy "out in front" of us at each rehearsal! Let's try to keep him "supercharged" in 2008!
Got Blog?
Hey - ever thought about telling us about yourself? Or just want to ramble like I do? Why not post a blog?
It's a cool way to communicate outside of the "normal" e-mail channels...That is if we don't some how use up our allotted disk space - but I don't think that's likely to happen.
Go ahead, give it a try! Please do try and keep it "clean"!
Harmoniously yours,
Kevin

Vely Interesting!
It seems that the we are up and runnig with the new database at the Society! Every now and again I "pop in" to see if the new Members Only Site is there - it is now! Check it out! ebiz.barbershop.org. Or just go into the BHS site and enter through Members Only Area.
There are some very interesting Stats that I have found:
We currently have 26 Members (Time to get busy!
Kurt Hornbacker and Robert Horwitz are indeed members of the New Dimension Chorus
Brian Carter, Ed Ocampo, and Nate Ware are not
Bob Rulifson is - but he is "lost in action" (anyone?)
But, interestingly, Christian Ragas, Brad Ward, and Eric Vancil still are
Chuck Marr now lists a Washington Address and is a Member "somewhere"
Nate Ware updated his address to reflect a Pittsburgh, PA address (but doesn't appear to be a member anywhere - not current with dues...Shame, Shame on you!!)
And.... Clayton Richey (Wha happened?)
I will post a new Chrous Roster and Spreadsheet to a "Private" spot on our site.
Zerbert!
Just Curious if anyone actually reads these! So if you walk up to me at rehearsal tomorrow night (November 7)and say "Zerbert" - I'll give you a buck! - Except Jeff!
Cool Tools
Inspired by our illustrious Director, I turn to the Blog to disseminate mindless meanderings of non momentus proportions! Hey - poetic liscense spurned from the instantaneous gratification of the insipid invention known as "The Blog". Therefore, I spew out my testament to the less than interested masses! I, too, shall be heard! BUT, I am wondering, by whom?
Cool tools on the internet, and through web pages, have always held my interest! You know me, a blabberer! And I have been given the opportunity to air my voice to the world! How cool is that!? In true spirit of the blog, you too should write - or answer - with your thoughts! Thanks to our wonderful webmaster, Jeff Harris, for finding and using this tool to build out our Web Site! He da Man!
Have you given thought to our fraternal organization, and it's members? Yes, I am talking about our chorus memebers? We are really blessed with a great group of guys! As I have stated before, I have never before been involved with an organization that has a greater group of individuals than we do! Fraternal simply means brotherly! I am glad to call you my brothers!
Well... blogs are meant to be brief! And - as you know - I am seldom brief. So, I'll shut up for now. Let's see what "action of words" is brought about by my sensles syllables... Ciao for now. By the way, ain't no speel checker on this thing, SOOOOO - deal with it!
