Community Service

The New Dimension Chorus is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3)
organization. Every year we strive to become active in our community
in our performance and philanthropic endeavors. Each year, we perform
in our local community; either through paid engagements, or free
"sing-outs."

American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Hayward in May 2006
mobilized the New Dimension Chorus to celebrate survivorship,
remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and raised money for
the fight against cancer. At this American Cancer Society signature
event, the New Dimension Chorus raised over 600 to help find a cure.

In 2007, the Chorus will again be participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life® in Hayward, CA.

Tsunami Relief

After the devastating tsunami of 2004 killed over 100,000 people in
coastal areas of India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka,
the New Dimension Chorus organized In Harmony For Asia,
IHFA which brought together some of the Bay Area's top
a cappella performers in a series of concerts which
raised over 3,000 in private
funds to help the tsunami

victims.

In 2006, the New Dimension Chorus was invited to sing at the City of
Hayward's Chamber of Commerce's Light Up The Season the
Thursday after Thanksgiving, in downtown Hayward, CA.

Some of our other activities include:

• Sang with other guest artists in a Fund Raiser for the San
  Lorenzo Library Foundation
• Summer Church Choir "Replacement" program at various local
  churches
• Host of the 2005 Harmony College West Show of Champions
• Veterans" Day with the Hayward Senior Center
• Sang in Fund Raiser for the Tennyson High School Blue Knights
  Jazz Ensemble
• Participated in the Hayward Light up the Season
• Hosted our annual Holiday show with special guest Harmony Bay Chorus from Alameda
  (Sweet Adelines)
• Private performances for residents of Baywood Court SNF.

Again, in 2007, the New Dimension Chorus will be participating in the
American Cancer Society's Relay For Life® in Hayward, CA. The event
will begin on August 18 at
Tennyson High School. If you can spend an hour or two with the
chorus, consider joining our team. If

donation to support our efforts? Either way, you will make a real
difference in the lives of people facing cancer – and in the lives of
the people who love them.
